Tournament of Champions

With a two over par 74, Kerry Rutan won the Twentieth Annual Tournament of Champions for the Mayer Brandschain Cup at Lookaway Golf Club. Merion's Liz Haines was Runner-up with a 75. For scores of the field and photographs, click here.


Mary Thayer Farnum Cup

Medalist at the Women's Championship with a 73, first round leader
at the Farnum Cup with a 77, Philadelphia Cricket's Marji Goldman
is the 2005 Winner of the Silver Cross.

Liz Haines combined an 81 with a 77 to win the 99th Annual
Mary Thayer Farnum Cup for the 5th time. For all results and

Griscom Cup

With an even par 71, Waynesborough's Judy and Brian Owens won their third Griscom Cup by 1 stroke over Debbie Craig and Brett Diakon from Commonwealth. Debra & Jordan Wycoff were Class B winners and Lisa and
C. J. Van Ostenbridge won Class C for the second time.

Boyle Cup

Last year's Runners-up are this year's Champions! WGAP President Connie Glynn presented the Boyle Cup to Spring-Ford's Beverly and John Brennan following their 1 up victory at Chester Valley Golf Club. For all results and pictures, click here.


Women's Championship

Still going … Meghan Bolger's winning streak continued at St. Davids Golf Club. She received the Glenna Collett Vare Cup from WGAP President Connie Glynn after winning her seventh consecutive Match Play Championship. One down after the morning round, runner-up Dayna Burleigh was never more than 2 down until the end of the 36-hole match. For all results and pictures, click here.


Mater et Filia & Lady-Junior Girl

With a three under par 70, Saucon Valley's Judith and Katie Dwyer won the Mater et Filia Tournament at Huntingdon Valley. 

Christine Gregor, Huntingdon Valley, teamed with Christina Koerper from Lu Lu won the 23rd Annual Lady-Junior Girl. For all results and pictures, click here.


Ida E. Dixon Cup

Starting Springhaven with 4 pars, Llanerch's Shirley Lawson, continued her good play and won the 88th Annual Ida E. Dixon Cup by 1 stroke. Afternoon thunder storms and heavy rain brought players off the course for over two hours. The persistent waited it out and all scores were recorded by 7:30 PM.

Charles S. Powell Memorial Cup

Sunnybrook's Courtney Robertson and partner Nick Pearson won the 67th Annual Charles S. Powell Memorial Cup with 58 points. Patricia and Bill Levering, Spring-Ford, were the Class B winners with 56 points. For all results and pictures of this year's event at Coatesville Country Club, click here.


Effie Derr Robey Cup

Spring Mill's Chickie Garofalo and Joanne Daniels won 47th Annual Effie Derr Robey Cup by 3 strokes. A full field enjoyed a beautiful day at Merion Golf Club's West Course. For all results and pictures, click here.

Inter-City

Plainfield Country Club, Plainfield, New Jersey, was the site of the 2005 
Inter-City Matches for the Griscom Cup. A beautiful but very difficult 
course resulted in close matches both days. New York successfully 
defended with 39 1/2 points. Massachusetts scored 34 1/2 and Philadelphia 34.

Fox Cup

With 31 points, Barbara Matta, Medford Lakes, won the Margaret Crozer Fox Cup.  This award is for the player in the first eleven Team Match Cups who wins the greatest number of holes in her matches.  
She must have participated in and won all five matches.
 

Nonna Barlow Cup


With a two under par 72, Merion's Loraine C. Jones and Liz Haines 
successfully defended and won the Nonna Barlow Cup for the
