Online memberships and an application are available on this web site in the drop down under Membership. An application has been e-mailed to all WGAP Golf Chairmen. Membership cards will be mailed out with the Red Books in March.
Equipment RuleOnly clubs and balls conforming to USGA specifications may be used in WGAP events and when posting any scores.
Handicap ClassesClass A – to 15.9 inclusive
Class B – 16.0 to 21.9
Class C – 22.0 to 26.9
Class D – 27.0 to 36.0
2009 Executive Committee
~ The Women's Golf Association of Philadelphia was founded in 1897 and is known as the "oldest women's golf association in the United States". Our Golf Office memorabilia is rich with the accomplishments of the women who pioneered golf in Philadelphia.
Many of their names are familiar to us today. We encourage women golfers to be a part of our rich heritage by participating in The WGAP.
